Kaltura drupal module repository history

Evidence of where Kaltura took until the first week of August 2010 to remedy the spyware problems in their self-hosted version of their Drupal module.

I don't get the scoop.
Kaltura actually payed attention to what the community was complaining about?
The got bashed around in the issue queue and i think it's more about not understanding the things that irk developers then any deliberate "evilness"
Eventually they understood that they need to pay more attention or to "clean up their act".
They should probably be commended for that not scrutinized.
Disclaimer: I actually know the people involved and have used Kaltura for several customers.
